VITMEE 2021: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information

VITMEE means the VIT master’s Entrance Examination. Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct the test (VIT). Admission will be available to a variety of courses, including MCA, M.Tech, and others.

Candidates will be admitted based on their performance in the entrance test. Interested candidates must apply for the entrance exam according to the eligibility requirements set out by the various institutes.

Application Form

Candidates must read the following information about the VITMEE Application Form:

  • The VITMEE 2021 Application Form is now available in an online format.
  • Candidates must submit a passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format during registration.
  • Candidates are advised to complete all medical, educational, and other necessary information on the application form.
  • There is no need to submit any completed application forms to the exam organizers by mail or courier.
  • Finally, candidates must print a copy of their completed application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the VITMEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the application form:

  • Nationality: Indian Citizens & NRI/ PIO/ Foreign candidates can also apply. 
  • Qualification: They should score a lot of marks in X and XII.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should graduate with a full-time degree from any university with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Educational Gap: Candidates with a maximum academic gap of 2 years can also apply for the examination.

Exam Pattern

Candidates must read the following information about the VITMEE Exam Pattern:

  • Duration of Exam: 2 Hours
  • Type of question: Multiple choice questions – Objective.
  • Number of questions: 100 questions
  • Total Marks: 100 marks 
  • Negative Marking: No negative markings. 
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer.

Tips for Preparation

Candidates can use the following tips and tricks to help them prepare for the VITMEE exam:

  • Make a detailed schedule and stick to it.
  • Examine the entire syllabus and exam pattern.
  • Examine previous year’s questions and practice papers.
  • At least one week should be set aside for revision.
  • Be safe by eating a well-balanced diet.

Admit Card

Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online from the website. To generate a hall ticket, candidates must go through the slot booking process. The method of reserving a slot would be performed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The hall ticket will provide all necessary information, including the candidate’s name, roll number, exam center, location, time, and essential instructions. Both applicants will be required to bring their admit cards to the examination center.

Result

It will be made available online. It will be published in the form of a score card, which will include detailed student scoring and ranking.

Candidates must verify their results using their login credentials. The merit list for the examination will be based on the marks earned by the candidates. Students who will take the test will be able to access it through the internet.

Counseling

After the results are announced, the university will announce the counseling protocol. At the time of counseling, candidates must download a call letter from the website. At the time of counseling, candidates must bring a photo ID and an original text, as well as the counseling fee. Without paying the counseling fee, no applicant will be eligible to participate in the institute.

All candidates must have this document:

  • Admit card for VITMEE 2021
  • Marksheets for 10th and 12th grades
  • Certificate of qualification/provisional degree
  • Marksheets for all qualifying exam semesters/years/final year, if applicable
  • Certificate of transfer/migration
  • Certificate of service/no objection
  • Certificate of Community (SC/ST)
  • Demand Draft (DD) payable to Vellore in favour of “Vellore Institute of Technology.”
