UKSEE 2021: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information


UKSEE means Uttarakhand State Entrance Test. The UKSEE (Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination) is a state-level entrance examination.

It takes place only once a year. Admission to B.Pharma, M.Pharma, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA programs will be available via this test.

Various private and government colleges in Uttarakhand will be offering admission. Uttarakhand State Entrance Test all applications submitted for the only online mode and Exam Mode is Offline.

Application Form

Candidates must read the following information about the UKSEE 2021 Application Form:

  • The application form will be accessible through the internet.
  • From the last week of April 2021, candidates will fill out their application forms.
  • Filling out an application form, paying a fee, uploading photos, and so on would all be part of the registration process.
  • Documents must be uploaded in the format specified. The photograph should be 35X45 mm in size.
  • Fill out the application form completely; no changes or corrections will be made after it is submitted.
  • Candidates have until the second week of May 2021 to complete their application forms.
  • Take a printout of the completed application form and store it safely for future use.

  • SC/ST Categories candidates: Rs.500/-

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the UKSEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the application form:


  • B. Tech – Lateral Entry: Candidates should have passed diploma or BSc degree from any recognized college.
  • B.Pharm: Candidates must have passed 12th standard with one of Mathematics and Biology / Biotechnology as Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
  • BHMCT: Candidates should have passed 12th standard with English as a compulsory subject. 
  • MCA: Three years Bachelor’s degree with Maths at 10 + 2 level from a recognized university.
  • MBA: A bachelor’s degree of three years duration is required. 
  • M.Pharm: A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is required. 

Minimum Marks

  • B. Tech – Lateral Entry: The candidate should have secured a minimum of 45% marks and SC / ST should have attained a minimum of 40% marks.
  • B.Pharm: A minimum of 45% marks is required and a minimum of 40% marks are required for reserved categories.
  • BHMCT: At least 45% marks are required in the qualifying examination and a minimum of 40% marks are required for reserved categories.
  • MCA: At least 50% marks in qualifying examination and 45% marks in case of reserved category.
  • MBA: Three-year duration bachelor’s degree is required.
  • M.Pharm: At least 55% marks in qualifying examination and 50% marks required for a reserved class.

Exam Pattern

Candidates must read the following information about the UKSEE Exam Pattern:

  • The question paper will contain objective-type questions.
  • To give the correct answer, a mark will be added, and no mark will be removed for the wrong answer.
  • The UKSEE 2021 exam will be held in May 2021 at various centers in the state of Uttarakhand.
  • Candidates can take the exam through both modes, ie, online and offline.
  • The questions will be objective type.
  • There will be one mark for correct answers and no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Candidates can use a black/blue ballpoint pen to mark their answers.
  • The question paper will be available in two languages, that is, Hindi and English.

Preparation Tips

  • The candidates will have to prepare and cover each subject of the syllabus.
  • The candidates are advised to prepare notes so that they can be easily revised in the last hours.
  • Consider the previous year’s question papers and sample papers to get familiar with the exam pattern.
  • Practice mock tests on a daily basis.
  • Do not take stress during the exam as it will reduce the performance level of the candidates.

Admit Card

The UKSEE admit card will be available online. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards starting in the second week of May 2021.

On the day of the test, bring your admit card. Examine all of the information on the admit card carefully. It is recommended that candidates carry identification to the exam hall. Candidates should contact officials if there are any discrepancies in the information.

Answer Key

After a few days of the test, the UKSEE 2021 response key will be issued. Authorities can make the response key available online.

Candidates will get a rough idea of how well they performed on the exam by looking at the results. Each course’s answer key will be published separately.

The correct answers to the questions will be included in the answer key. The response key will be in PDF format.


The UKSEE results will be made available online. The authorities will not give the results by mail or in any other offline mode. In the second week of June 2021, candidates will be able to review their results.

Candidates must double-check the information on their admit cards, such as their name, grade, and so on. The candidates’ marks in the test will be used to compile a merit list.

Cut Off

Following the announcement of the results, the UKSEE 2021 cut-off will be made public. The cutoff will be announced in an online mode.

Candidates who achieve the required cut-off points will be eligible for counseling. The cutoff would be the minimum score needed for candidates to be admitted. For each course, the cutoff will be different.


Counseling for UKSEE 2021 will begin in the first week of August 2021. Counseling will be conducted entirely online. The counseling process will consist of several stages, such as seat assignment, document verification, and so on.

Candidates’ seats will be assigned to them based on their rank. For the authentication process, candidates must apply their original documents. If candidates are unable to attend the counseling session, their seats will be canceled.
