UCEED 2022: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information

Design

UCEED means Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design. Every year, the UCEED is a national-level entrance test.

This exam is held to include access to undergraduate design programs. Students will enroll in the B.Des program. It was kept under the supervision of the UCEED Admissions Committee.

Students who pass the entrance exam will be qualified for admission to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur, among other campuses. UCEED all applications submitted for the only online mode.

Application Form

Candidates must read the following information about the UCEED 2022 Application Form:

  • Students will register for UCEED via the internet.
  • The UCEED 2022 application process includes several phases, including online registration, filling out application information, uploading required documents, and paying the application fee.
  • Students must upload their photograph and signature, PwD/ DA certificate, qualifying exam certificates, ST/ SC/ OBC-NCL Certificate, and other documents in the format and size defined during the application process.
  • In addition, if there are any errors in the application information, students can correct them by sending an email to the officials.

  • Indian Candidates (Including PIO / OCI): Rs.1500/- (Female Candidates), Rs.1500/- (SC, ST, PwD Candidates), Rs.3000/- (Other Candidates).
  • Foreign Candidates: $200 USD (SAARC countries), $325 USD (Non-SAARC countries).

Examination Centres in Dubai

  • Indian Candidates (Including PIO / OCI): $200 USD (All Indian Candidates)
  • Foreign Candidates: $200 USD (SAARC countries), $325 USD (Non-SAARC countries).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the UCEED 2022 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the application form:

Eligibility in General:

  • Applicants must be Indian, foreign, PIO, or OCI cardholders.
  • To be qualified to apply, open category or OBC – NCL applicants must have been born on or after October 1, 1996. Candidates for ST, SC, and PWD must have been born after October 1, 1991.
  • Students will be allowed to take the UCEED exam a total of two times. The UCEED scorecard is valid for one year.

Eligibility:

  • Passed the 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognized board or university in every stream – science, commerce, arts, and humanities.
  • Students who are taking their 12th-grade exams are also eligible to apply.

Exam Pattern

Candidates must read the following information about the UCEED Exam Pattern:

  • The entrance exam is conducted online.
  • Exam Time: Three hours are allotted to complete the paper.
  • Part I and Part II of the paper will be divided into parts. There will be three parts in Portion I.
  • Questions Form: Section A will have numerical-type questions, Section B will have multiple select questions, and Section C will have multiple-choice questions.
  • A number of questions: There will be a total of 68 questions in the article.
  • Total Marks: The paper will have a total of 240 points.
  • Paper in English as a Medium Language: Paper has been made available in English as a Medium Language.

Tips for Preparation

Candidates can use the following tips and tricks to help them prepare for the UCEED exam:

  • Before you begin studying for the test, make sure you have a full understanding of the UCEED syllabus, exam pattern, and marking scheme.
  • Make notes for the UCEED exam and keep track of the important points in one location.
  • To evaluate your readiness, take online and offline mock exams.
  • Solve sample and model papers to prepare for the test.
  • Use a suitable selection of study materials to prepare for the test.

Admit Card

The candidate’s registered user id and password are required to download the admit card through the internet. To gain admission, students must also bring a photo id proof along with their admit card.

Candidates can double-check the information on their admit cards and notify officials if there are any discrepancies.

Answer Key

The authority was the first to issue the draught response key. Candidates can also raise objections to the response key if it is discovered.

Result

Students can only access their results through the internet. Students must enter their login information in order to access the results.

The authority has released the merit list, which will reveal the candidate’s exam ranking. Students can also learn about their qualified status by looking at the merit list.

Scorecard

After the results are announced, students can download their UCEED scorecard. Students must enter their login credentials in order to obtain the scorecard.

Only the online version of the scorecard is available. The candidates have not been given a separate hard copy of it. Only candidates who have passed the UCEED are eligible to download their scorecards.

Cut Off

Students must pass the exam and achieve the specified UCEED cut-off in order to be considered for UCEED entry. Only the names of students who receive the qualifying marks will be included in the rank list.

For different categories, the cut-off will be published on the website. The cut-off for each category will be determined separately.

The cutoff will be determined by a variety of variables, including the difficulty level of the paper, the number of candidates who will take the test, and the number of seats available.

Merit List

The UCEED 2022 merit/rank list is now available in an online format. Only those applicants who have been chosen in the merit list will be considered for the next round of admissions. The ranking list was generated using the total marks (Part A and B) obtained in the exam.

Admission

Candidates who have been chosen from the UCEED rank list/merit list are eligible for admission/counseling. IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, and other participating institutions require students to apply for admission.

In addition, students must pay a counseling fee. Seat distribution takes place in rounds. Students will also be expected to send all required documentation for verification.
