NATA 2021: Admit Card (Released), Exam Dates & Other Information


NATA 2021 Admit Card has been released for Test 1. NATA means National Aptitude Test in Architecture. NATA provides Undergraduate Courses. National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a National level Exam. Admission to the B.Arch.

NATA 2021 Application Form can be filled up on 30th May 2021 for Test 2. The degree requires passing the national-level aptitude test in architecture (NATA 2021). It is held at all recognized institutions for admission to the first year of a five-year B.Arch. degree program.

CoA has agreed to perform the test twice a year starting in 2019. National Aptitude Test in Architecture Courses Offered for Architecture. NATA applications submitted for the online mode and Exam Mode is Online/Offline.

Application Method


Application Form

Candidates should read the information below before filling out the application form.

  • The application form must be completed online at the NATA portal.
  • The application period for NATA 2021 began on March 5, 2021.
  • Candidates must fill out personal information, upload papers, and pay fees.
  • Candidates must print the confirmation page produced after making effective fee payment.
  • There is no need to submit any paper in hardcopy to any official authority.
  • Candidates will apply for the first session until April 1, 2021, and the second session until May 30, 2021.
  • When filling out the application form, candidates should pay close attention to all of the specifics. Candidates will only be given one chance to correct their personal information.

Application Fee

  • Exam City in Dubai: Rs.7000/- (pay the extra examination fee)
  • General Candidates: Rs.2000/- (One Session), Rs.3800/- (Both Session)
  • SC/ST Candidates: Rs.1700/- (One Session), Rs.3100/- (Both Session)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should review the following eligibility requirements:

  • Nationality: Indian nationals. 
  • Age: Should be less than 17 years of age.
  • Qualification: The candidate must pass the examinations 10+2 with PCM or 10+3 with diploma mathematics.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level examination or a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
  • Direct lateral entry to every other year/stage of the B.Arch. program is not permitted based on any qualification.

Exam Pattern

  • Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
  • Type of question: In the test, you will be asked multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple-select questions (MSQs), preferential choice questions (PCQs), and numerical answer questions (NAQs).
  • Number of questions: The exam will consist of a total of 125 questions.
  • Total Marks: Both session exams will have 200-point questions.
  • Language: The medium of the question paper will be English.
  • Negative Marking: No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
  • Marking Scheme: 2 Marks for each correct answer.

Tips for Preparation

Candidates should review the training tips and implement them in order to appear and perform well in the exam.

  • It is necessary to read the entire exam pattern and syllabus given by the officials.
  • Examine previous year’s question papers as well as the answer key.
  • Make a research schedule that you stick to on a daily basis.
  • To familiarise yourself with the exam pattern, take an online or offline mock examination.
  • To stay fit, eat nutritious foods and keep your health in check.

Admit Card

The admit card has been produced in accordance with the announced schedule, indicating the NATA examination center.

For each applicant, an Examination Roll Number will be produced. The applicant must obtain a soft copy of the NATA admit card from the organization’s website.

Candidates must bring one original photo identification card (Voter Card/ Pan Card/ Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence) and a printed hard copy of the downloaded admit card to the test.

Answer Key

The replies of the candidates will be posted on the website. Model answers to the MCQ section (Part A) will be available online after the test.

The response key for each candidate, as well as the candidate’s Part-wise points, will be uploaded before the results are published. There will be no analysis available for the drawing exam (Part B).

Furthermore, there will be no provision for post-publication scrutiny and/or revision, and any request made after the result has been published will be ignored.


For each test, a separate scorecard will be produced. The second test scorecard must include the results of the first and second exams, as well as the best score obtained in any of the tests as a suitable score for entry to the B.Arch. program. Before the results are announced, the results will be available on the website in different electronic/print media.

Cut Off

The NATA Cut off will be made available online by the exam organizers. The cut-off mark would be the minimum score needed to pass the entrance exam.

The cut-off will be determined by a variety of variables, including the total number of seats available, the exam’s difficulty level, and the total number of candidates who took the exam. Candidates should score 25 percent in the MCQ section and 25 percent in the drawing section.


There will be no specific admissions counseling conducted by the official authority. Candidates must apply separately for admission to each institution to which they wish to apply.

Candidates are interested in B.Arch. programs can attend different counseling sessions held by each institution. For the verification process, candidates must bring all necessary documentation and photocopies.

Candidates who meet all of the qualifying requirements will be offered final admission.
