JEECUP 2021: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information

Polytechnic

JEECUP means the Joint Entrance Examination Council of UP. JEECUP provides by Undergraduate level Courses. JEECUP Exam is a State level Exam.

The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh administers this test. Students who pass this entrance exam will be qualified for admission to various polytechnic institutions affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education.

JEECUP Courses Offered for Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy & other Diploma Courses. JEECUP all applications submitted for the only online mode and Exam Mode is Offline.

Application Form

In the section below, students will learn everything they need to know about the JEECUP 2021 Application Form:

  • The entire application process will be conducted entirely online. There will be no offline registration available.
  • Before applying to UP Polytechnic, students should read all of the eligibility requirements thoroughly.
  • In each examination change, candidates can only apply for one application form. Several applications will be turned down.
  • Students must accurately fill out the application information, as the authority can or may not offer corrections after the deadline.
  • Students are not required to submit a hard copy of their submission. The hard copy of the application or confirmation page, however, must be kept for future reference.

Application Fee

  • The application fee can be charged online with a debit/credit card or by net banking. The fee can also be charged through SBI/ICICI bank E-challan.
  • General and OBC Candidates: Rs.300 + Bank Charges
  • SC & ST Candidates: Rs.200 + Bank Charges

Eligibility Criteria

In the following section, you can find the details of the UP Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian Citizens. (JEECUP candidates must be residents of Uttar Pradesh.)
  • Age: Minimum of 14 years old.
  • Qualification: 10th & 12th Class passed. 
  • Minimum Marks: Diploma in Engineering & Technology (minimum of 35% marks), Diploma in Pharmacy (General – 50% & SC/ST – 45%)

Exam Pattern

In the section below, you can find full information about the JEECUP exam pattern:

  • Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
  • Type of question: Multiple choice questions – Objective.
  • Number of questions: 100 questions
  • Total Marks: 100 marks 
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
  • Marking Scheme: 4 Marks for each correct answer.

Tips for Preparation

Here are some helpful JEECUP preparation tips for candidates:

  • Students can review the entire exam pattern and syllabus that is available online.
  • Students should solve JEECUP past papers and sample papers for good practice.
  • Research from books, online/offline study materials, and other sources that have proven to be effective in the past.
  • Prepare notes for a variety of subjects and review them on a regular basis.
  • Take tests on a daily basis to make adjustments to your preparation.

Admit Card

Candidates will be able to download their JEECUP admit card in May/June 2021. Students would be able to get it by logging in with their username and password.

After downloading the admit card, students must double-check all of the information on it. Only the online version of the JEECUP admit card is available for download.

Students must bring their admit card and photo id evidence to the exam in order to be confirmed.

Answer Key

After the exam has been successfully completed, the JEECUP 2021 answer key will be issued. The response key will be made available on a trial basis first.

Students will be able to download it in PDF format from the internet. Students will be able to determine their likely exam score with the aid of the response key.

In the event that the authority discovers a mistake in the response key, the applicants will be given the opportunity to appeal it.

Result

The results of the UP Polytechnic will be announced in July 2021. By entering their login credentials, students would be able to access the results.

The scorecard will also be available on the website. Only those students who pass the exam will be considered candidates for further consideration in the admissions process. Actual marks obtained will be included in the score or result published.

Counseling

When the results are released, the status of eligible applicants for JEECUP counseling will be revealed. Students may be asked to validate their documents/certificates during the counseling process.

The UP Polytechnic Counseling will be conducted entirely online. On the website, students will be able to choose branches and institutions.

Candidates will be assigned seats based on their preference, reservation, and JEECUP State Open rank.
