JEECE 2021: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information


JEECE means Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination. The JEECE Exam has been phased out in favour of the JEE Main Exam.

From the year 2019, B.Tech admissions will be done via the NTA-conducted JEE Main Review (National Testing Agency). It is a test that is given to all applicants who are qualified. Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency.

Engineering courses are open to applicants who score higher than the cut-off points. Applicants will be able to get admission to various engineering institutes in the state of Jharkhand using their JEECE scorecard.

Application Form

The following is a list of relevant details about the application process for applicants’ reference:

  • On the official site, the application form will be accessible in an online format.
  • Those interested in taking the entrance exam will begin filling out the application form in April 2021.
  • Applicants are not to submit the filled-out application form to the office in hard copy.
  • Applicants are advised to complete the application form completely and accurately, as the authorities will not accept any changes.
  • Applicants must complete the application form on the university’s official website, which includes personal, educational, and contact information.
  • Applicants must upload scanned documents after filling out all of the required information.
  • photographs, signatures, and left thumb impressions in the recommended format and scale
  • After successfully completing the application form, applicants are advised to print a copy for future reference.
  • Before submitting the application form, applicants must double-check the details they have submitted.
  • Applicants must apply the application form online only after thoroughly reviewing all of the data.

Application Fee

  • General/ BC-I/ BC- II candidates: Rs.900/-
  • SC/ST & Female Candidates: Rs.450/-

Eligibility Criteria

The following is relevant information about the eligibility requirements for the applicants’ reference:

Country of origin:

Citizens of India are qualified to participate.


Applicants who have a Jharkhand state domicile certificate are entitled to take the exam.

Criteria for age:

The applicants’ age has not been set by the authorities.

Qualifications of education:

The applicant must pass the HSC / I. SC or some similar exam from a recognized board or board in Jharkhand.

Appearing candidates:

Applicants who are currently completing their HSC / I. SC or equivalent final exam are also entitled to take the entrance exam.

Subjects include:

Physics, chemistry, and mathematics should all be required in the qualifying examination.

Marks needed to qualify:

In order to sit for the entrance exam, applicants must have a qualifying exam score of at least 45 percent (Reserved group applicants receive a 40% bonus).

Exam Pattern

The following is relevant information about the paper pattern for the entrance exam for applicants’ reference:

  • The entrance exam will be administered in an online format.
  • In the test, objective form multiple-choice questions will be included in the question paper.
  • The total number of inquiries: Each topic has 50 questions on the question paper.
  • The entrance exam will be held in both English and Hindi.
  • One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • For each incorrect answer, 0.25 will be deducted.
  • Applicants will have one hour to complete a math paper and two hours to complete a physics and chemistry paper.

Admit Card

JEECE 2021 Admit Card releasing in online mode. On the university’s official website, admit cards will be available in an online format. In order to view the admit card, applicants must go to the university’s official website.

Applicants must use their application number and password to access the website and download their admit card. Applicants are advised to keep their admit cards secure until the admission process is completed.

Applicants are advised to print the downloaded admit card for future reference. At the time of the interview, the admit card should be brought along with a photo ID.

Applicants will receive their results in May 2021. Along with the announcement of the results, the authorities will issue the response key for the entrance exam. To download the results, applicants must go to the website and log in with their login credentials.

In addition to announcing the results, the authority will compile a merit list of applicants and appoint some of them. The merit list will be determined by the applicant’s performance in the entrance exam. Cut-off marks will be determined by the board at the time of the results announcement.

Applicants who score higher than the cut-off mark are entitled to proceed to the next step in the admissions process. It is recommended that applicants save a copy of the downloaded result for future reference.

In June 2021, the authority will conduct a therapy session for eligible applicants. The merit list will be used to direct the therapy process. On the basis of their entrance exam scores, the authority will invite applicants to the counseling phase.

The authority will assign seats to applicants during the counseling process. The therapy fee must be paid at the time of the counseling procedure, according to the instructions. Applicants must bring a few essential documents to therapy in order to complete the verification and registration process.

Once the certificates have been checked, the applicants will be admitted to the university. The initial and attested copies of the documents must be submitted by the applicants.
