JCECE 2021: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information

Admission

JCECE means Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. The JCECE 2021 conference will take place in the third week of May 2021. The JCECE Board administers this test once a year.

This is a state-level entrance exam for admission to B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc. and Animal Husbandry, and other degree programs.

Students will be admitted to various associated colleges and institutions in Jharkhand. JCECE all applications submitted for the online mode.

Application Form 

Examine the specifics of the JCECE 2021 Application Form in the following section:

  • In the second week of April 2021, the JCECE 2021 Application Form will be eligible.
  • Students must register online, fill out the application form, upload photos & documents (as per format/size), pay the fee, and send and print the form in order to apply for JCECE 2021.
  • Students will be able to fill applications till the first week of May 2021.
  • The complete application process of JCECE 2021 will be done in online mode.
  • Only one application form can be submitted by the applicant at a time.
  • Multiple applications will get rejected by the authority.

Application Fee

  • General/BC-I/BC-II Candidates: Rs.900/- (PCM), Rs.1000/- (PCB)/(PCBM)
  • SC/ST Candidates: Rs.450/- (PCM), Rs.450/- (PCB), Rs.500/- (PCBM)

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Age Limits

  • The lower age limit should be 17 years.
  • The upper age limit for B.V. Sc. & A.H course should be up to 25 years.

Relaxation

  • B.V. Sc & AH candidates will be given 5 years relaxation, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture and B.Sc (Hons) Forestry, B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech (Diary Technology) and Bachelor in Fisheries course.

Domicile

  • Candidates should have a domicile of Jharkhand state.

Qualification:

BSC Agriculture: Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 classes with Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry & Physics or Biology subjects from any recognized board.

B.V.Sc. And A.H: Candidates should have passed 10th and 12th standard from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

B.Tech (Dairy Technology): Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 class with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects from any recognized board.

BSc Horticulture: Candidates should have passed 10th and 12th standard from PCB, PCMB, PCM & PC or any recognized board with inter agricultural subjects.

  • Should have passed from a recognized board. 

Exam Pattern

  • Duration of Exam: 3 Hours (PCM / PCB group), 4 Hours (PCMB group)
  • Type of question: Multiple choice questions – Objective.
  • Number of questions: 150 questions (PCM Group), 150 questions (PCB Group), 200 questions (PCMB Group).
  • Exam Mode: Offline (Pen-Paper based)
  • Negative Marking: Each attempt to give a wrong answer will remove the ¼ marks.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer.

Tips for Preparation

Candidates can use the following tips and tricks to help them prepare for the JCECE exam:

  • Make a schedule for the exam that includes all of the relevant topics.
  • Prepare notes and review them on a daily basis for revision.
  • For good practice, solve sample/model papers or past papers.
  • Before beginning, exam planning, review the JCECE exam pattern, syllabus, and marking scheme.
  • Take practice tests to get a sense of the exam’s difficulty level and to improve your accuracy.
  • Prepare for the entrance exam by using good online or offline research materials.

 Admit Card

In the second week of May 2021, the JCECE 2021 Admit Card/Hall Ticket will be available for download on the website.

Students must enter their login information, application number, and date of birth in order to download the admit card. The JCECE 2021 Admit Card is a necessary document to appear for the exam.

The hall ticket will include information such as the candidate’s name, subject category, DOB, roll number, exam date and time, and exam location.

Answer Key

JCECE 2021 Response Key will be published in the third week of May 2021. The response key will be available on the JCECE Board’s website.

The response key for different sets will be available for students to search. Students will be able to predict their exam scores and determine their chances of further admission using the Answer key.

Cut Off

On the website, students will be able to review the JCECE 2021 cutoff. The cutoffs for different courses or categories will be announced separately by the JCECEB.

The cut-off will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the exam’s difficulty level, candidates’ results, the number of students who applied, and the availability of seats. In order to be considered for admission, students must pass the exam with the required score.

Result

The JCECE 2021 result can be viewed online via the student’s login window. In the fourth week of May 2021, the results will be announced. In July 2021, students will be able to download their rank cards from the website.

The results will be available in PDF format for students to download. On the website, a category-by-category and overall merit list will be released. Students must enter their roll number and choose the exam they want to check the results for.

Counseling

2021 JCECE In the third week of June 2021, online counseling will be available. The counseling plan will be made available online after the findings are announced.

The applicants will be contacted for counseling based on their merit rating. Students will be called to the counseling process based on their merit rating. The allotment letter must be downloaded and the counseling fee must be paid online.

Following that, students will be admitted and assigned seats in different institutions. For the document verification phase of counseling, students must also apply their required certificates/testimonials.
