GUJCET 2021: Application Form, Exam Dates & Other Information

Admission

GUJCET means Gujarat Common Entrance Test. Every year, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) conducts the GUJCET, a state-level general entrance exam.

This entrance exam is held for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy programs at various Gujarat-based institutions.

To be considered for admission, students must pass the entrance exam with the necessary scores. Gujarat Common Entrance Test all applications submitted for the only online mode and Exam Mode is Offline.

Application Form

Candidates must read the following information about the GUCET 2021 Application Form:

  • The application process for GUJCET 2021 will begin in April 2021. The application process will only be available in an online format.
  • The application form is available on the GSEB’s online website.
  • Complete information in the document must be carefully and accurately filled out, as no changes to the form would be permitted after the deadline.
  • When applying, all relevant information such as personal, academic, correspondence, educational, and picture uploading must be completed.
  • The scanned images of the photograph and signature should be uploaded in the format specified.
  • After submitting the application form, there would be no need to send a hard copy to the officials.

Application Fee

  • All Categories Candidates: Rs.300/-

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the GUJCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria before filling out the application form:

Eligibility in General:

  • The applicant must be a resident of India.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
  • Candidates in the final semester of their qualifying examination will be qualified to apply.

Program in Engineering:

  • Passed 12th grade from every recognized board with a minimum of 45 percent in Physics and Mathematics (40 percent for reserved categories).

Program in Pharmacy:

  • Passed 12th grade from every recognized board with a minimum of 45 percent in Physics and Chemistry (40 percent for reserved categories).

Bachelor’s Degree Program:

  • Passed 12th grade with Physics and Chemistry from a recognized educational board.

Exam Pattern

Candidates must read the following information about the GUJCET Exam Pattern:

  • Just pen and paper will be used for the GUJCET 2021 test.
  • The paper will be written in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • The paper will have a total of 120 questions. There will be 40 questions for each subject.
  • The time limit for completing the paper will be 3 hours.
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering courses are the topics from which questions will be answered. Questions from physics, chemistry, and biology will be posed in pharmacy courses.
  • The exam will be worth 120 points.

Tips for Preparation

Candidates can use the following tips and tricks to help them prepare for the GUJCET exam:

  • Candidates should begin studying for the exam as soon as possible.
  • Students should go through their exam schedule and syllabus in detail. Candidates must also be aware of their labeling system.
  • Candidates who are studying must train on a regular basis.
  • Students can also take mock exams on a daily basis to gauge their level of readiness.
  • Examine previous year’s question papers and model papers to learn about the types of questions that will be asked in the exam.

Admit Card

GUJCET 2021 Admit Card releasing in online mode. There will be no offline mode for obtaining the admit card. From the first week of May 2021, it will be accessible.

The admit card is a crucial document that will be used to identify the candidates who will be participating in the exam. Without their admit card, no student will be able to enter the exam hall.

The candidate’s name, date of birth, qualification, paper option, exam center, and exam date will all be listed on the hall ticket. If any information on the admit card is wrong, the student must contact the officials to get the issue corrected.

Answer Key

In the third week of May 2021, the GUJCET 2021 Answer Key will be issued. It will only be available to students through the internet.

The provisional response key will be released first by the board. Students will be able to cross-check their answers after the provisional response key is issued.

Students would also have the opportunity to object to the response key. After the objections have been considered, the final response key will be written.

Result

The GUJCET 2021 results will be announced in the fourth week of May 2021. Students can access their results through the website’s connection in an online mode. Students can access their results by entering their login details.

Following the announcement of the results, the authority will publish a merit list on its website. Students will be chosen for the next round of counseling after passing the entrance exam with a weighted average of 40% in the entrance exam and 60% in the 12th grade.

Counseling

GUJCET 2021 Counseling will begin in the first week of June 2021 and will be conducted entirely online. The GUJCET counseling process will be organized by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

Students who wish to participate in the counseling process must obtain an information booklet and a PIN number, as well as register for counseling at a Kotak Mahindra Bank near them.

Students must choose courses and colleges based on their merit and seat availability during registration counseling. During the counseling process, students must also check their records.

The following are the lists of documents needed for the therapy process:

  • 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets
  • Certificates of Completion
  • Certificate of Caste
  • Marking sheet for the GUJCET
  • Certificate of Income
  • Certificate of Transfer/Departure from School
  • Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (if required)
